I study at Bak Touk high school at first, but later I transfered to Cambodia Adventist School. I feel nothing in Bak Touk high school, no memory that I want to mention. But Cambodia Adventist School is very different, it means a lot to me. I met new strangers there, they grew as my classmates, and leave as my friends.
Let begin with, I had done something wrong in Bak Touk highschool, and my parents decide to transfer me to CAS or Cambodia Adventist School. CAS is a very different high school that I ever knew. First of all, I thought it going to be a ridiculous idea to put me in a private Christian school while I’m not a Christian, but my parent didn’t hesitate to put me in this school. I began studied at 9th grade, I met strangers in here and I never think that these strangers mean a lot to me in the future. After 9th grade, I seem to get along with my classmates and some of us became friends already.
In 10th grade, as a transferred student I am behind from other student in many things like English and Computer. They are expert in typing and writing in English, but I am still poor. However, some of my friends are willing to help. I can follow all of them in the mid of tenth grade as I began to have a good grade in class, I believe so. Although, some of us are became friends, but our class is not in one group. It seems like a class with differences groups because we aren’t cooperate with each others.
I don’t want to mention about my 11th grade, so let go to my 12th grade and it was my senior year of my high school. In my class, all of us aren’t friends yet, we just normal classmates as we still far apart from each others. But I can tell that after a trip to Jom Bok Hos, at January 2010, we are like a strong team, a group of best friends. We cooperate and help each others. That trip is very unique to me, and it was the happiest time that I have with all my friends. There is no specific reason beside that training center at Jom Bok Hos, help us to care once another. Inside a place like forest, I believe it help us to become a team players. It like a Khmer proverb said, “In home difference mothers, but in forest the same mother.” Later on, we win the school’s Olympic game. At first, some other class look down to my class as most of our classmates’ physical appearance is weaker than them. But we win and have the champion as we cooperate, we just like a group of ant that never afraid of an elephant. That’s because we learn to become one team, at Jom Bok Hos.
Cambodia Adventist helps me to meet my friends that I never forget. Although, I have argued or stop talking with some friends but so what, they are still my friend in my heart. We already shared our happy and sad time together, it can’t be changed, it already gone or pass, but it stills an unforgettable memory. Finally, we are the real CAScade for Cambodia Adventist School.
I want to share this video to all people, it all about my friends.
I hope my friends will like it.
Thanks!
